Before your treatment
- Shave the area to be treated 24 to 48 hours before your session
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks prior
- No plucking or waxing for six weeks before treatment. The laser needs the hair root to target
After your treatment
- Avoid sun exposure and apply sunscreen to treated areas
- Mild redness or swelling, like a light sunburn, is normal and subsides within hours or days
- Skip hot showers, saunas and strenuous exercise for 24 hours
